We are seeking a bold and strategic senior leader to take on the pivotal role of
Alliance Manager, Marketing and Communications
. This is your opportunity to lead the City's voice, elevate its brand, and inspire pride in one of the world's most liveable cities.

About The Role
This is not just another leadership role — it's about defining how Perth is seen, heard, and experienced. You will lead a high-impact portfolio at the heart of the City, reporting to the General Manager on Engagement and Activation, and guiding a talented team across marketing, media, digital, and corporate communications.

Your work will directly influence the way Perth connects with its residents, businesses, visitors, and the world.

What You Will Deliver

• Strategic Marketing & Brand: Lead bold, creative campaigns that showcase Perth's story and strengthen its destination identity.
• Multi-Channel Communications: Shape clear, consistent, and impactful messaging across digital, social, media, and crisis communications.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong, trusted relationships with leaders, partners, and community stakeholders.
• Team Leadership: Inspire a collaborative, high-performing team to deliver measurable results.

About You
You are an experienced leader who thrives at the intersection of strategy, creativity, and influence. You bring:

• Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Communications, or related discipline.
• Executive-level experience in integrated marketing, brand, and communications.
• Proven success in destination marketing, media relations, and stakeholder engagement.
• A track record of leading high-performing teams to deliver innovative, data-driven outcomes.
