Sydney, New South Wales, Australia Hireup Full time $120,000 - $250,000 per year

We're Hireup, delivering support as it should be — for the disability and aged care community.
Our story.

Our story.
It started with a family and their challenge to find disability support that worked for them. They needed more, and knew that people with disability could have more independence, choice and control in their lives. The Hireup purpose was born, and now we strive to enable the pursuit of a good life for everyone.

Support as it should be.
We're Hireup, and we've supported thousands of clients and employed support workers across Australia. Now, we're on a mission to ensure that people with disability and older Australians can access the right support for the moments that matter for them. We do this through combining digital tools with the reliability of someone to help when it matters most.

The ask?
Our mission sets a new standard for disability and aged care support, working in a world of transformation whilst delivering reliable services every day. Authenticity, curiosity and tenacity is a must. Resilience will be key. We will live the 'power of yes' and push for the best (we might not always get it right) but we'll work together to tackle opportunities, hold each other up and be there in the moments that matter to you and our community.

*What you'll do - Chief Finance Officer*
We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Chief Financial Officer to lead our Finance and Corporate Services function. This executive role is pivotal in partnering with the CEO to shape and execute our financial strategy, drive operational and business performance, and ensure strong financial governance.

  • Provide financial advice and analysis to the CEO and Board on all strategic and operational aspects of financial management and sustainability for the group.
  • Act as Company Secretary and ensure Hireup complies with statutory obligations, requirements of ASIC and other regulators.
  • Leadership of the Finance and Legal functions, building a culture of high performance.
  • Lead annual budget and forecasting processes whilst delivering effective financial planning processes for the business in line with strategic priorities.
  • Ensuring Hireup's financial strength is maintained through effective cash flow management, allocation and appropriate investment strategies.

  • A demonstrated track record as a CFO as well as experience in senior financial leadership roles.
  • Experience operating as a strategic thought partner and working in partnership with the CEO.
  • An experienced leader who drives performance, accountability and invests in developing and coaching team members.
  • A proven track record in financial planning and analysis, corporate finance, financial control and cost allocation that drives business performance.
  • Experience with transactions, mergers, acquisitions, and integration processes.
  • Experience working in dynamic, agile businesses as well as operating within regulatory environments is essential.
  • Experience as a Company Secretary is desired but not necessary.
  • Commercial acumen to enable alignment of financial, operations and people strategy and outcomes.
  • Ability to conceptualise, develop and implement strategic initiatives and business models.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Collaborative and persuasive approach to relationship building.
