The Role

You'll deliver commercial-grade painting and decorative finishes across interiors and façades, coordinating with our plastering, glazing and cladding teams to hit program and quality targets.

You'll work closely with our project management team to deliver bespoke painting solutions and guide junior team members, contributing to operational improvements and future-proofing our skilled workforce.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare substrates: remove coatings, patch/stop, sand, seal and prime to spec.
  • Apply brush/roller/spray finishes (water-based, solvent, epoxy/2-pack, elastomeric, intumescent as required).
  • Colour-match, cut-in, mask, and protect adjacent surfaces; rectify defects and warranty touch-ups.
  • Read drawings/specs, complete QA checklists, and maintain accurate records (SWMS, ITPs).
  • Safely set up access equipment/scaffolds/EWPs; maintain tools and spray gear.
  • Interface with glazing/façade junctions (sealants), acoustic panels and cladding edges to specified tolerances.

About You

  • Certificate III in Painting & Decorating or 4+ years' equivalent industry experience.
  • Strong commercial site experience (interiors and façades), including spray application.
  • Current White Card; EWP/Work at Heights tickets highly regarded.
  • Able to read plans, follow QA procedures and meet program milestones.
  • Current driver licence; reliable, safety-first attitude.
