Protective Waterproofing is a small Business in the remedial construction industry. We pride ourselves with the high quality of work we produce and the attention to detail. We are looking for the right candidate to join our expanding team. Hard work and excellent work ethic will be greatly rewarded. We service Sydney Metro and Greater Sydney region

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Site Set up and preparation for membrane installation / Painting
  • Preparing surfaces including placing drop sheets and removing existing paint /wallpaper
  • Erecting scaffolding and ladders
  • Fixing woodwork / Concrete repairs, filling holes and cracks
  • Smoothing and sealing surfaces
  • Working with chemicals such as solvents, oil, paints, thinners and additives
  • Selecting and preparing paints and materials
  • Cleaning work areas and equipment
  • Working in both Team and individual environments
  • Picking up and dropping material from one site to another
  • Learn and / or excel in waterproofing application in the following systems: Painting |Sheet | Liquid | PVC | Torch on
  • May repair windows and replace glass in wooden and metal frames

Qualifications & experience

  • Valid White Card
  • Drivers Licence and own vehicle
  • Painting skills
  • Desirable Cert III in Painting and Decorating
  • General Construction experience is preferred
  • At least 1 Year of work experience is preferred; General Construction workexperience may be considered
  • Fully competent in use of basic hand / power tools
  • Must have high standards in time management | attention to detail | Punctuality |Communication | Pride and work ethic
