About The Role
As a Receptionist at the George Williams Hotel, you will be responsible for providing outstanding customer service to guests during their stay

What will my time look like?

  • Welcoming guests upon arrival and ensuring a smooth check-in/check-out process
  • Handling guest inquiries, requests and providing accurate information about hotel facilities and services
  • Managing reservations and assisting with room allocations
  • Processing payments, handling cash and maintaining accurate records
  • Collaborating with various hotel departments to ensure guest needs are met promptly and efficiently
  • Upholding the hotel's standards of cleanliness and presentation at the reception area
  • Support the Night Manager with daily tasks

Am I a good match?

  • Previous experience in a customer service or receptionist role preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in using computer systems and knowledge of hotel management software is an advantage
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Flexibility to work on a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays and evenings
  • Hold a current national police check or be willing to obtain one
