About the role
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-orientated Accounts & Office Assistant, to join our friendly and supportive team.
We require a person with excellent communication and phone mannerisms, proficient computer / email / data entry skills, able to take direction, along with good overall knowledge of office day to day running. We currently run Reckon Hosted as our office accounting system & experience in the use of this would be preferred.
You will be coordinating and managing correspondence of staff, contributing to the preparation of reports, attending to emails and client phone calls.
To ensure our business runs as efficiently as possible, you will be responsible resolving minor issues and responding to client/staff issues within the group.
About You
This is a Part time/Casual position with flexible working hours. Standard working days and hours are Monday – Friday, 8.30am – 4.30pm. The Position offered is flexible, 2-3 days a week and the hours per day are negotiable for the successful applicant.
Your main station with be inside in an office environment.
Qualifications & experience
- Reckon Hosted accounts experience preferred
- Have at least 2 years recent accounting data entry experience
- Demonstrated experience in Payroll
- MS Office skills with proficiency in Excel, Outlook & Adobe PDF
- Strong attention to detail
- Professional Communication and Presentation
- Able to multi-task and react to quick changes and requests
- Time Management Organisation
- Understanding of Office administration processes
Tasks & responsibilities
· Assisting Head Office Admin Role
· Preparing documents and correspondence
· Accounts Payable – reconcile supplier balances & Process payments
· Management of Record/Policies
· Assisting with payroll processing
· Maintain employee data across multiple platforms
· Credit Card Reconciliations
· Tracking vehicle and equipment maintenance & records
· Filing, Taking phone calls, interacting with managers and assisting with their role
· Assisting with travel and logistics organization
· General clerical & administration duties - Keeping office clean
