NightOwl is an Australian owned and operated Franchise and Corporate Store Network who has built a solid reputation in the retail sector for over 50 years. Today we boast 80+ stores, consisting of a combination traditional convenience and convenience petroleum throughout QLD, NSW & WA.

We're looking for a tech-savvy IT Support roleto join our Team, where you'll play a vital role in supporting multiple systems and hundreds of users to keep our business running. This role is a great stepping stone for someone looking to launch their career in IT, perfect for those currently studying or recently graduated with some hands-on experience.

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide IT support across the business, troubleshooting issues and helping teams stay productive.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline systems and improve data workflows.
  • Support system upgrades and implementations, contributing to continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Ensure compliance with data governance and security protocols, protecting sensitive information and maintaining trust.
  • Contribute to automation and efficiency projects, helping reduce manual work and improve operational speed.
  • Train and support users on systems and tools, empowering teams to work smarter with technology.
  • Assist the IT team with day-to-day operations, including monitoring systems, responding to support requests, and maintaining hardware and software across the business.

What we are looking for:

  • Strong technical aptitude with experience in remote IT support.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot issues and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment juggling multiple priorities and keeping all stakeholders updated.
  • Good communication skills, able to explain technical concepts clearly and support non-technical users.
  • A collaborative mindset, working well across departments to deliver solutions and support.
  • An interest in automation and efficiency, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • A commitment to data security and governance, ensuring compliance and confidentiality in all tasks.

Experience & Education: (Preferred but not essential)

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT or equivalent.
  • Experience in an IT helpdesk or support role.
  • Demonstrated track record supporting Windows-based servers, network devices and custom applications.
