About the role

VC Property is seeking a passionate and driven Junior Property Manager to join our team in Canberra, ACT. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of residential properties, ensuring the highest standards of customer service and property maintenance.

What you'll be doing

  • Liaising with landlords and tenants to address any queries or concerns in a timely and professional manner
  • Conducting property inspections and coordinating maintenance and repairs
  • Efficiently managing the end-to-end leasing process, from advertising vacancies to conducting viewings and securing new tenants
  • Ensuring all relevant documentation, including lease agreements and condition reports, are completed accurately and in compliance with industry regulations
  • Tracking and processing rent payments, bond lodgements, and other financial matters related to the properties in your portfolio
  • Providing regular updates and reports to landlords on the status of their properties

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role within the real estate or property management industry
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with landlords, tenants, and contractors
  • Excellent organisational and time management abilities, with the capacity to juggle multiple tasks and priorities
  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate records and documentation
  • A valid driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle
  • Familiarity with relevant real estate legislation and industry best practices
