We are a successful civil contracting business who has been operating in Australia for over 35 years. With the agility and personal connection of a Tier 2, yet the expertise of a Tier 1, and the enhanced resources of one of the largest, world-class construction companies, VINCI, our employees and clients get the best of three worlds.
As a progressive, leading civil engineering firm built on the strong foundations of our unique history, we engage, enable and empower our people to be better. With you, we are altogether stronger, in building the future we want.
Join a landmark infrastructure project that's set to make a lasting impact on the community — the Youngs Crossing Road upgrade. This major civil construction initiative will improve flood resilience, enhance traffic flow, and provide a safer, more efficient connection for thousands of road users each day. As part of this dynamic team, you'll be contributing to a high-profile project that combines technical excellence with community value.
The primary objective of the Supervisor role is to oversee field construction activities within an assigned work area, ensuring the effective organisation, planning, and scheduling of both self-performed and subcontracted tasks to deliver the project to the required quality, on time, and within budget.
About The Role
- Ensure safety and compliance by preparing and implementing WHS procedures (e.g. SWMS, HIRAC), conducting inspections, and coaching teams on safe work practices.
 - Plan and coordinate works in collaboration with Engineers, including scheduling, resource allocation, and maintaining effective communication tools (e.g. whiteboards, meetings).
 - Manage workforce and subcontractors to ensure productivity, scope compliance, and alignment with project goals, while fostering a clear understanding of roles and expectations.
 - Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily diaries, timesheets, cost tracking, and claims to support project reporting and financial outcomes.
 - Monitor project performance and risks, stay up to date with company policies, legislation, and industry developments, and actively contribute to continuous improvement and emergency management.

The successful applicant will have the following skills and experience:
- Proven experience in civil infrastructure projects, specifically structural experience, with the ability to manage safety, environmental, and legislative requirements effectively.
 - Strong communication skills, including the ability to deliver clear and engaging toolbox talks, pre-starts, and written documentation.
 - Sound knowledge of industry standards and company policies, including Quality, IR, HR, and client specifications, with the ability to monitor and apply ITPs.
 - Technical competence, including interpreting drawings and programs, selecting appropriate plant, and using Microsoft Office and mobile technology in daily tasks.
 - Leadership and mentoring capabilities, with experience training staff and managing budgets, programs, and resources to support project success.

We have a range of additional benefits available for our employees:
- Health & Wellbeing – discounted health insurance, seasonal vaccinations, wellness discounts, fertility benefit and employee assistance program (EAP).
 - Time for life / Work life balance – birthday leave, purchased leave program, paid parental leave and flexible work arrangements.
 - Financial wellbeing – competitive remuneration, annual performance bonuses, salary continuance insurance and employee share program.
 - Career development – training, mentoring programs, and leadership development program.

Many of our projects are located in regional areas, therefore all applicants must hold a current Driver's Licence and have their own transport.
