RESTAURANT SUPERVISOR - PART TIME - MANLY BOATHOUSE

The role

We're seeking an experienced Restaurant Supervisor to join our passionate team at Manly Boathouse. In this part-time role, you'll be responsible for overseeing the smooth running of our vibrant waterfront restaurant in Manly, QLD. With your exceptional customer service skills and strong leadership abilities, you'll ensure our guests have an unforgettable dining experience every time.

What you'll be doing

  • Managing and supervising the restaurant floor, ensuring excellent service standards are maintained at all times
  • Rostering, training and developing a team of friendly and attentive wait staff
  • Monitoring inventory levels and placing orders to maintain appropriate stock levels
  • Resolving any customer complaints or issues promptly and professionally
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety and licensing regulations
  • Assisting the Management team with administrative tasks as required

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar restaurant supervisor or front-of-house management role
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team
  • Exceptional customer service orientation and the ability to provide a seamless dining experience
  • Sound knowledge of food and beverage operations, inventory management and cost control
  • Flexible and adaptable, with the capacity to work evenings, weekends and public holidays as required - we are open to negotiate hours for the right applicant
  • Relevant hospitality qualifications or certifications would be highly regarded
