About the role

This full-time Human Resource Coordinator position at GOC Care in West End, Queensland offers an exciting opportunity to play a key role within a growing organisation. As part of the Human Resources team, you will be responsible for providing support to the HR Advisor and comprehensive administrative support across all HR functions, contributing to the effective management of the company's most valuable asset - its employees.

What you'll be doing

  • Manage and maintain accurate employee records and data, including processing payroll, benefits, and leave information

  • Support the recruitment process by coordinating job postings, screening applications, and scheduling interviews

  • Assist with the onboarding of new hires, ensuring a seamless transition into the organisation

  • Administer employee training and development programs

  • Provide general HR support and guidance to employees on policies and procedures

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of HR initiatives and projects

  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all relevant HR and legal compliance requirements

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar HR administrator or coordinator role

  • Strong administrative and organisational skills with attention to detail

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with employees at all levels

  • Proficient in the use of HR information systems and Microsoft Office suite

  • Familiarity with Australian employment laws and regulations

  • Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business, or a related field is preferred
