Melbourne's event season is heating up — and so are the kitchens Hotelstaff is on the hunt for talented, passionate chefs to join our team for the bustling Spring Racing Carnival and ongoing Summer events.

Are you ready to step into some of Melbourne's top kitchens and showcase your skills at major events across the city and regional Victoria? From iconic racecourses to high-end venues, this is your chance to cook at the heart of the action.

Join us for an exciting season with ongoing shifts available well beyond Spring — all backed by a supportive team that understands what you need to thrive.


What's on the Plate:

  • High-demand, flexible rosters across the Spring Racing Carnival, Summer, and beyond
  • Above-award hourly rates + penalties + super + opportunities for overtime
  • Weekly pay and full support from our experienced agency team
  • Work in top-tier kitchens at high-profile events and premium venues
  • Long, predictable shifts tailored to your availability

We're Looking for Chefs Who Are:

  • Trade-qualified, with a minimum of 5 years' experience in fast-paced kitchens
  • Experienced in fine dining and hatted venues (highly regarded)
  • Confident with kitchen operations and committed to food safety best practices
  • Adaptable, reliable, and professional, with a strong work ethic
  • Available through to at least mid-November, including full Saturdays
  • Flexible, open-minded, and ready to roll up your sleeves wherever needed
