About Us

Normandy Wine & Grill is a French-inspired restaurant in the heart of Windsor, renowned for premium produce, classic French flavours, and warm hospitality. We are seeking a passionate Casual Chef with proven experience in French cuisine to join our dynamic kitchen team.

About the Role

As a Casual Chef, you will:

  • Prepare and execute French dishes to a high standard
  • Work closely with our Head Chef and kitchen team to maintain consistency and quality
  • Contribute to a smooth and efficient service in a busy, fast-paced environment
  • Ensure food safety, hygiene, and kitchen cleanliness are upheld at all times
  • Obtain food safety certification within 30 days of commencement

What We're Looking For

  • Essential: Previous experience cooking French cuisine in a professional kitchen
  • Minimum of 1-2 years experience in French cuisine in a professional kitchen environment
  • A strong understanding of French culinary techniques and traditional dishes
  • Ability to work calmly and efficiently under pressure
  • Reliability, attention to detail, and passion for hospitality
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required
  • Valid Australian work visa or authorisation to work in Australia
