About the business
We are on the lookout for a Sales & PM Trust Accounts person to work within a small agency in Clayfield. This role has become available as 2 part time roles have been merged. This agency has a portfolio of 350 and averages 3-5 sales a month. Alongside managing the accounts process you will also be aiding the director with to-market sales administration,
This role is responsible for processes and monitors the processing of the rental trusts' financial, mid and end of month accounting transactions and property management compliance management. Examines, analyses, and reconciles accounting, financial records as well as documents such as bank statements, expenditures
This role ensures accuracy and compliance with the company, government and granting agency guidelines, which includes accounting, reporting and procedures. Performs various administrative tasks according to the needs of the business.
About the role
- General ledger and bank reconciliation
- Invoicing of sales commissions, VPA, etc
- Sales trust account: reconciliation and disbursements
- Liaise with external accountants and auditors
- Sales administration and compliance for Director
- EOM, bank reconciliations, management reports
- Manage administration tasks
- Processing owner and creditor payments
- Liaise with outside bookkeeper

Skills and experience
- 3+ years of experience in property accounts management
- Polite, articulate, professional verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in using a variety of software programs and working with database management systems
- A team player that can also work independently
- High attention to detail
- Proactive and forward think
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for financial reporting
- Must have the right to work in Australia
