Peter G Williams & Associates, Solicitors & Notary is a busy, traditional law practice operating in the commercial business district of Upper Mount Gravatt. Since its inception in 1992, PGW Solicitors has been proud to provide quality legal services in diverse areas including conveyancing, wills and estates, commercial leases, family law, civil litigation and notarial services.
The Role
As Legal Accounts Clerk, you will be responsible for upkeep of the office accounts of our firm including:-
- Trust accounting - payments, receipting and end of month trust reconciliations and compliance reporting
- General office accounting - billings, controlling petty cash, accounts payable and accounts receivable
- End of month cashflow reporting, fee earner reporting, workflow reporting and financial reporting
- Support administrative staff with regular file invoicing
This position is on a permanent part-time basis working 2 to 3 days per week.
About You
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a legal accounts clerk
- Knowledge of trust accounting rules and regulations
- Proficient in MYOB and LEAP Legal software would be advantageous
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
- Strong attention to detail
- Knowledge of legal terminology, procedures and office practices
- The highest standard of integrity
