About our commercial litigation team

Our commercial litigation team is well known in the market as one of Brisbane's premier commercial litigation practices. Our lawyers work Australia wide and are among the best in their field. Market leading partner Rocco Russo leads an agile tight-knit team recognised for its work ethic and ability to produce technically excellent, solutions orientated, work at the highest level. About you

This role will appeal to experienced commercial litigators who want to apply their technical and commercial skills in a collaborative well-established team with a strong pipeline of work. While there will be opportunities to develop additional skills such as team coaching and mentoring, business development and financial management, the role will suit those who want their primary focus to be on delivering high quality legal advice and solving complex legal issues for clients.

The role would also suit applicants looking to re-join the workforce after a period of parental leave.

Your experience and capabilities will include:

• Minimum 5+ years PQE in a solid high-quality firm (top tier, national, or high-quality litigation boutique)
• Outstanding litigation and dispute resolution experience in areas relevant to our team's broad practice including: commercial and corporate disputes, building and construction disputes, insolvency, property disputes, intellectual property disputes, commercial insurance/professional liability and regulatory matters
• Strong technical credentials and ability
• Excellent written communication skills including the ability to write complex and technical advices
• Ability and desire to manage a varied case load involving many areas of law
• Ability to quickly assimilate new information and problem-solve complex legal issues
• Self-motivated and ability to work autonomously
• The ability to work well as part of a close-knit team.
