Residential Estimator | Ready to Build More Than Just Numbers?

At GemLife, we don't just build homes—we build vibrant, luxury lifestyles for the over-50s. With 8 new resort sites launching in the second half of 2025 alone, we're scaling fast and looking for an Estimator who's ready to grow with us—and not just in their current role.

We're on the hunt for someone with strong residential estimating experience (5+ years) who understands production estimating inside and out—and wants more than just a desk job. What You'll Do:

  • Prepare & review detailed costings, take-offs and cost plans
  • Collaborate closely with Site Managers, Suppliers, and internal stakeholders
  • Negotiate pricing and maintain supplier relationships
  • Track variations and project financial performance
  • Drive accuracy, speed, and quality across all estimating outputs

What You'll Bring:

  • 5+ years of residential estimating experience (production background highly regarded)
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes & pricing structures
  • Experience with Databuild preferred
  • A trade background (ideally Carpentry) or a Diploma in Building & Construction
  • Great communication skills and the confidence to work across teams
  • A mindset for growth—you're hungry to evolve and take your career further
