About the Role

This role is responsible for making delightful first impressions on our customers, being the face of Workskil. You will use your superstar administration skills to direct inquiries to the appropriate area, in a timely manner and provide operational support to your colleagues.

The successful candidate will find balancing day to day tasks easy with strong time management and organisational skills. You will be competent using the Microsoft suite and have experience taking accurate queries by phone and using a customer relationship management system. As the first point of contact for all visitors to the site the CSO has a professional and friendly demeanour, even when dealing with a wide range of people, which can at times be challenging. Teamwork is paramount, as the site works closely to assist customers into quality employment.

This role is being offered on a full time, ongoing basis and will be located at our Osborne Park site.

You'll also experience the work/life balance that comes with working a 9-day fortnight, with a dedicated and fixed day off every second week. You will still receive the remuneration of a full time employee in addition to the ability to salary sacrifice.

About You

To be successful in the role you will be able to:

  • Demonstrate excellent administration skills, attention to detail and computer literacy; including competent with Microsoft Office Suite;
  • Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills;
  • Demonstrate experience in a busy reception or front of house role dealing with a wide range of members of the public;
  • Prove your ability to maintain a calm and professional approach when dealing with difficult situations;
  • Demonstrate your ability to work with culturally or linguistically diverse people, ex-offenders, youth and disadvantaged groups; and
  • Awareness of the Employment Services industry and ability to prepare and edit resumes (desirable).

You will also be required to:

  • Have intermediate to high level administrative skills including ability to type at a minimum of 30 wpm.

Remuneration

A competitive salary will be negotiated commensurate with skills and experience. As Workskil Australia is a public benevolent institution, we can also offer a portion of the salary through tax effective salary packaging.
