Duty Manager – Wildflower

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Duty Manager to join our team and oversee the daily operations of our Wildflower restaurant. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a talented team, ensure exceptional guest experiences, and help maintain the highest standards of food and beverage service in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the restaurant's operations during your shift, ensuring smooth service delivery and operational efficiency.
  • Assist in implementing and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency in service and quality.
  • Supervise, train, and motivate the team to deliver superior service, ensuring all team members are knowledgeable and engaged.
  • Liaise with the kitchen team to ensure that food quality and timing meet expectations and are delivered as per standards.
  • Oversee the booking system to ensure reservations are accurate, optimising occupancy for the restaurant.
  • Maintain a high standard of cleanliness, organisation, and presentation across all areas of the restaurant.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant statutory regulations and hotel policies, including health and safety standards.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest feedback, ensuring their needs are met, and creating memorable dining experiences.
  • Actively participate in staff recruitment, scheduling, and timesheet approval.
  • Foster a positive, friendly, and productive work environment to maintain high staff morale and reduce turnover.
  • Support ongoing professional development for the team through training and regular feedback.
  • Represent the restaurant department at meetings and assist senior management with various tasks as required.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Proven experience in a similar hospitality or restaurant management role.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with a hands-on approach during peak periods.
  • Excellent communication skills and a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to adapt and perform well under pressure, ensuring high standards during busy shifts.
  • Knowledge of food and beverage operations, including reservations and stock management.
  • Passion for providing excellent service and creating a positive work environment for your team.
