About the role

We are looking for a full time Food and Beverage Duty Manager (private events) superstar, someone who can work alongside our events sales team to deliver the most memorable of moments on a daily basis. From weddings to corporate golf days, seminars and birthday celebrations, every day is different and every event unique. You will need to be able to take the events brief provided by the sales team and run an event from start to finish; coordinating staff, food and beverage service, on day activities, cash handling and pack down/lock up of the venue.

The Food and Beverage Duty Manager (private events) will be required to lead our busy functions teams, from greeting guests, though food and beverage service to event conclusion and pack down/ reset.

The successful candidate will have the ability to lead and mentor a team, liaise with both internal and external stakeholders, carry three plates, understand service styles (such as alt drop and choice menus, buffet etc) and have a willingness to problem solve all while maintaining a happy and positive disposition. AV understanding would be advantageous.

RSA and managers card a must. Weekend and night work essential.

Unrestricted Managers (red card) licence valid in Western Australia

Food Safety Supervisor certification or willingness to obtain

Hospitality experience Min 2 years in a supervisory role

Experience in events, functions, or banquet management preferred

Attention to detail

Time management skills

Cash handling and POS system experience

Customer service skills

Ability to lead and mentor a team

Rights to work in Australia

Great interpersonal skills

Immaculate presentation

Willingness to learn and grow within the company.
