Situated on the picturesque Swan River the Tradewinds Hotel is an iconic venue in East Fremantle, a stone's throw from the vibrant streets of Fremantle.    We have an exciting opportunity for a Duty Manageryou will be enthusiastic, motivated and able to work well in a very fast paced environment.

Having worked in a similar role within the hospitality industry, you will be a team player with excellent communication skills and attention to detail.    

Bring your experience, creativity, organisation and passion for food, beverage and service and be part of an exciting a well-established Western Australian, family owned, true hospitality group.   

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the daily Food and Beverage operations of the hotel.
  • Coordinating the activity of the Food and Beverage staff
  • Development and training of staff
  • Maintaining high standards of service
  • Opening and/or closing of the venue
  • Maintaining venue presentation and cleanliness
  • Processing & reconciling POS & EFT terminals and complete with end of day financial reporting
  • Attending management briefings and meetings
  • Monthly stocktaking and stock control procedures

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Duty Manager
  • Excellent understanding of cellar operations
  • Strong knowledge of wine, draught beer and spirits
  • Valid WA un-restricted approved managers certification
  • Be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Have a passion for delivering the highest level of customer satisfaction.
  • Have strong leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good understanding of WHS
  • H&L Knowledge is highly regarded.
