Manager, People & Operations – Tasmanian Greens

Hobart TAS | Full-time | Fixed-term Crown Prerogative Appointment

Looking for a role where you can combine people leadership skills with operational know-how and make a real impact?

The Tasmanian Greens are recruiting our very first Manager, People & Operations, to help us run our high-performing, values-aligned Parliamentary and Electorate Office Teams.

What you'll be doing

  • Leading people and culture initiatives including recruitment, development, wellbeing and workplace culture.
  • Overseeing daily operations, budgets, compliance, office systems and statewide coordination.
  • Working closely with the Chief of Staff, Leader and across the workplace problem solve and keep everything running smoothly.
  • Fostering collaboration and communication across the statewide team.

What we're looking for

A confident leader with:

  • Strong HR and people management experience.
  • Skills in balancing competing priorities in complex environments.
  • Excellent judgment, discretion and communication skills.
  • The drive to shape a role and support the Tasmanian Greens to shape Tasmania
