About the role:
CSR is seeking a commercially minded Finance Analyst to join our high-performing team in Wetherill Park. This is a fantastic opportunity to partner with key stakeholders across the business, providing critical financial insights and driving continuous improvement in performance and reporting.
As a trusted advisor, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting strategic decision-making, managing financial controls, and delivering accurate, timely reporting across Sales, Logistics, GTCs, and Overheads.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with business leaders to provide strategic decision support.
- Deliver timely, actionable insights through monthly performance reporting.
- Identify performance gaps and support improvement initiatives.
- Review rebate claims and balances for accuracy and appropriateness.
- Manage month-end processes and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Monitor Capital WIP, set up IOs, and perform asset capitalisations.
- Support budgeting and forecasting with rigorous processes and stakeholder engagement.
- Ensure strong financial governance and compliance with CSR policies and accounting standards.
- Prepare capital expenditure requests and working capital analysis.
- Drive process simplification and continuous improvement initiatives.
What You'll Bring
- CA or CPA qualified (or working towards).
- 2+ years of relevant accounting experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; SAP and Power BI experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Experience in manufacturing, building, or construction industries (preferred).
- Collaborative, solutions-focused mindset with a passion for improvement.
