The role

As an OT, you will provide assessment and intervention in home and community environments. Typical work includes:

  • Functional capacity assessments and goal based therapy
  • Assistive technology assessment, trials, and reports including low risk and complex items
  • Home safety assessments and minor home modification recommendations
  • Skill building for ADLs and IADLs including sensory and executive functioning supports
  • Clear reports and progress updates for NDIS plans
  • Collaboration with participants, families, support coordinators, and allied health colleagues

What you will need

  • Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
  • AHPRA registration
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Working With Children Check
  • Current First Aid and CPR
  • Police Check within 6 months
  • Driver licence and reliable insured vehicle
  • Experience with NDIS functional assessments and AT is desirable
