The role

As a Speech Therapist, you will deliver evidence based assessment and therapy for NDIS participants. Typical work includes:

  • Communication and language assessments
  • Therapy for speech, language, fluency, and social communication
  • AAC assessment, trials, and training for participants and their circles of support
  • Functional reports and progress updates for NDIS goals
  • Collaboration with families, support coordinators, educators, and other clinicians

What you will need

  • Tertiary qualification in Speech Therapy
  • Certified Practising Member of Speech Pathology Australia or eligibility
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Working With Children Check
  • Current First Aid and CPR
  • Police Check within 6 months
  • Driver licence and reliable insured vehicle
  • Experience with NDIS is desirable including AAC
