The role
As a Speech Therapist, you will deliver evidence based assessment and therapy for NDIS participants. Typical work includes:
- Communication and language assessments
- Therapy for speech, language, fluency, and social communication
- AAC assessment, trials, and training for participants and their circles of support
- Functional reports and progress updates for NDIS goals
- Collaboration with families, support coordinators, educators, and other clinicians
What you will need
- Tertiary qualification in Speech Therapy
- Certified Practising Member of Speech Pathology Australia or eligibility
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working With Children Check
- Current First Aid and CPR
- Police Check within 6 months
- Driver licence and reliable insured vehicle
- Experience with NDIS is desirable including AAC
