Accounts Payable Officer

Crystal Pools, Australia's oldest swimming pool builder, is looking for reliable and detail orientated Accounts Payable Officer to join our small team. This is a permanent part time position of 15 hours a week, with flexibility around hours & days.
Based in Thornleigh, your main responsibility will be to help manage accounts payable processes efficiently and accurately, helping to ensure the smooth day to day running of the finance team.
The role would suit someone local looking to re-join the work force after a break or looking to downscale from a full-time role.
The Job:
o Processing of daily, weekly & monthly invoices
o Checking of all invoices to ensure documents received are correct
o Checking supporting documentation and authorisation
o Reconciliation of supplier statements and follow up on discrepancies
o Scanning, filing & archiving of invoices and remittances
o Reporting to the Finance Director you will also assist with ad hoc day to day tasks as required.
Your Background:
o 2 years Accounts Payable experience
o Xero experience preferred but not essential
o Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
o Comfortable working independently or as part of a small team
o Reconciliation experience preferred but not essential
o Building industry experience will be well regarded
o Positive personality with ability to fit into a small, friendly but focused office team
Additional Requirements:
o Highly organised– you must be a proficient user of Microsoft Office programs including Outlook, Excel & Word.
o Excellent communication skills – including written & verbal communication. Be able to liaise with suppliers & Crystal Pools operations team.
