- Mentor and develop talent within your team, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and support to excel.
- Hold yourself and your team accountable for meeting service expectations, ensuring SOX compliance, and consistently delivering exceptional customer satisfaction.
- Be the ultimate problem-solver, resolving queries efficiently and effectively while actively seeking feedback from stakeholders to drive continuous improvement.
- Lead improvement projects aimed at enhancing our global systems and processes, driving efficiency and innovation.
- Collaborate with internal and external compliance teams to facilitate audits and manage corrective actions as needed.
- Conduct monthly reviews of reconciliations and reporting, ensuring accuracy and integrity.
- Take a proactive approach to managing balance sheet accounts, promptly addressing any reconciliation items that may arise.
- Perform regular risk assessments, identifying and mitigating potential risks to ensure seamless service delivery.
**Qualifications** Your keys to success**:
- A bachelor’s degree in either Accounting or Finance (or similar)
- Prior experience mentoring or leading Interns or Assistant Accountants
- You're a natural leader who thrives on empowering others and fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability
- Highly organised and detail-oriented, you excel at juggling multiple priorities and deadlines with ease
- Your communication skills are top-notch, allowing you to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels
- A passion for mentorship, innovation, and driving positive change
