About the Role
William Buck Wealth Advisors is one of South Australia's leading and fastest-growing Wealth Management firms. We're seeking a Junior Financial Advisor to join our expanding team and help empower clients with tailored, high-quality financial advice.
In this role, you'll immediately receive a portfolio of clients to nurture and make your own, with exceptional support including tailored training, mentorship, and professional development opportunities. With clear growth pathways and potential for future partnership, this role is ideal for someone with the passion, drive, and skills to succeed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with clients to provide tailored financial planning solutions that include all aspects of Wealth Management.
- Take ownership of an assigned book of clients, building strong relationships and fostering loyalty while providing ongoing advice and education.
- Contribute to the firm's growth by proactively identifying and pursuing networking and referral opportunities.
- Manage client investment portfolios, ensuring they align with both short- and long-term goals.
- Facilitate strategy meetings with clients and actively implement financial plans, ensuring clear communication every step of the way.
- Collaborate with accountants, legal advisors, and estate planners to deliver holistic client solutions.
- Lead or support client education initiatives, including presentations, workshops, and seminars.
- Adhere to regulatory and compliance requirements, maintaining up-to-date CPD hours and ensuring best practices in all activities.
- Stay informed on financial markets, tax regulations, and legislative developments impacting financial planning strategies.
About You:
We're looking for a people-first financial professional with:
- A relevant degree, completed Professional Year, and registration on the Financial Advisor Register (FAR).
- Ideally 5+ years of experience in advisory or financial planning support.
- Strong skills in Xplan, communication, and simplifying financial concepts for clients.
- Exceptional organisational abilities and the capacity to manage multiple priorities.
- A self-motivated, team-oriented approach with a passion for learning and growth.
- A genuine desire to help clients achieve financial security and long-term success.
