About the role

We are seeking an experienced Associate Advisor to join our Financial Advisory team.

Based in our Adelaide office, on the fringe of the east parklands, you will work closely with our team of Principals and Financial Advisors.

This is a great opportunity where you will be working in a growing business that will provide you with the opportunity to become an authorised financial advisor if you wish to pursue this pathway.

What you will be doing

You will be responsible for:

  • Collaborating with our Advisors to deliver all aspects of the personal financial planning process to our diverse client base of individuals, small to medium businesses and self-managed superannuation funds.
  • Assisting the Advisors in all elements of financial planning, including investment management, insurance review, estate planning, tax planning, and retirement planning.
  • Gathering of data, developing financial plan analysis, and managing meeting notes and action items.
  • Preparing Statements of Advice, including entering data and running reports using financial planning and investment research software.
  • Attending and participating in technical training.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree and up to 5 years of investment management or financial planning experience, with a strong preference for concentrations in finance or financial planning.
  • Previous or direct experience supporting client relationships preferred.
  • Completion or near completion of FASEA approved: Master of Finance (Financial Planning); Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning; or Bachelor of Business (Financial Planning).
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite as well as financial planning software such as  XPlan, CRM and Portfolio Reporting software preferred.
