
Cleaning Manager

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cleaning Manager, Brisbane based, to oversee our cleaning operations. This role requires strong organisational skills, effective leadership, and the ability to manage multiple projects while ensuring our team delivers high-quality service to clients.
As a Cleaning Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing cleaning projects from start to finish, managing rosters, training staff, and ensuring client satisfaction. You will also play a key role in maintaining efficiency, implementing quality standards, and ensuring that all work is completed within budget and on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Management:
- Oversee cleaning projects and ensure progress organisation.
- Deal directly with site managers on site to coordinate works.
- Monitor progress, ensure cleaners stay within budget, and track hours.
- Daily Reporting: Provide written reports of the jobs executed each day, including photoreports and organisation of photos as evidence of work completed.
- Lead Evaluation: Review and accept HiPages leads to bring in new business opportunities.
- Inventory Management: Develop and implement a new system to manage chemicals, equipment, and supplies.
- Roster Creation: Plan, organise, and maintain staff rosters to ensure smooth operations.
- Booking Organisation: Coordinate job bookings in alignment with the office team, ensuring smooth scheduling and communication.
- Job Preparation: Review upcoming jobs in the app, ensuring all chemicals, machines, and personnel are allocated.
- Client & Team Communication: Maintain professional and effective communication with clients, the office team, and cleaners.
- Team Training: Train cleaning crew members to meet company standards and improve efficiency.
- Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality service standards across all projects.
- Extra Services: If requested in writing by the company, coordinate additional services outside the original scope (with the ability to charge extra for these services).
Requirements
- Proven experience in cleaning supervision, facility/project management, or similar leadership role.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Ability to manage budgets, rosters, and staff efficiently.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, machines, and safety procedures.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to adapt quickly.
- Previous experience in training staff and implementing quality standards.
