Barista/all Rounder

As a Barista, you will play a vital role in creating an exceptional coffee experience for our customers. We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated individual who is passionate about coffee and committed to providing outstanding service.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and espresso beverages, as well as teas and other menu items, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Engage with customers to take orders, provide recommendations, and create a welcoming atmosphere.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace, including equipment and seating areas.
- Operate and maintain coffee machines and grinders, performing regular cleaning and upkeep.
- Manage cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and high standards of service.
- Stay updated on coffee trends, techniques, and menu offerings to enhance customer experience.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience as a barista or in a customer service role is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Passion for coffee and eagerness to learn about different brewing methods and specialty drinks.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Casual

Pay: From $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Supplementary Pay:

- Penalty rates
- Performance bonus

**Experience**:

- Barista: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
- Food handling: 1 year (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)

Work Location: In person
