Our vacancy is for an experienced accountant seeking new challenges in the provision of high quality financial reporting, taxation and business advisory services to a diversified client base. This role could provide a pathway to becoming a senior accountant or manager should that be your preference. Progression to developing other team members will be available in a role which would change over time.

Our client base is most small to medium family owned businesses as well as property and other investors. We prepare financial reports, income tax returns and assist clients' management of tax liabilities as well as support their accounting information systems. We have a growing SMSF superannuation practice and work with solicitors in litigation support services involving valuation, investigation and assessment of economic losses.

We provide support to our clients' use of computerised accounting systems so familiarity with these and Xero, in particular, is highly desirable.

The opportunity exists to have a leading role in the superannuation practice of the firm and to develop a recognised speciality in this area providing additional value to clients where we provide taxation and accounting services. The opportunity also exists to contribute to the foremost forensic accounting practice in the state, with extensive interstate connections.

Rands Advisory Group spent more than twenty years until recently as a full member firm of the tenth largest accounting group in Australia.

The practice is entirely cloud based in all applications with a variety of leading edge systems.

CA or CPA support is provided as is active ongoing training and other benefits such as doughnut Fridays and daily fresh fruit and other snacks.

The position would best suit candidates with more than two years of experience in the business services division of an Australian accounting firm.
