Summary:
Lorkin Delpero Harris is a Tasmanian owned accounting firm in the Hobart CBD.
We are seeking an experienced individual to assist with front of office administration services. The role would suit someone who is seeking a full time position in the Hobart CBD.
- Your hours will be 8:30am-5:00pm Monday to Friday
- You will be part of a friendly, supportive and team orientated environment.
- Job scope below can be modified to align with successful candidates experience & skills.
Your core duties will include:
- Monitoring and responding to client enquiries received via email and telephone
- Greeting and assisting clients face to face
- Scheduling appointments for our Accounting staff
- Collating reports, including financial statements and income tax returns to be sent to clients
- Assist with administrative tasks, including filing, scanning and supporting various staff within our team
- Handling mail (i.e. sorting, scanning & sending)
- Processing invoice payments via EFTPOS, cheque and cash
Skills and experience:
- At least 12 months' experience in an administrative role
- Previous experience using Microsoft Office (particularly Outlook, Word & Excel)
- Previous experience using MYOB, Xero, BGL and/or Quickbooks are an advantage but not essential
- Ability to multi-task, problem solve and prioritise within a fast-paced environment
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong understanding of compliance and regulatory standards
- Ability to work both independently without supervision and also as part of a team
