What You'll Bring

  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering, including data modelling, building and maintaining data pipelines, ETL processes, and data integration solutions.
  • Expertise with AWS and Snowflake; strong knowledge of data warehousing and architecture.
  • Experience with dbt, Apache Airflow (or similar), and advanced SQL skills.
  • Skilled in version control, testing, CI/CD, Docker, GitHub Actions, and related development practices.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, experience in data cleaning, optimisation, and observability frameworks/tools (e.g., Great Expectations, Elementary).
  • Proficiency in programming languages like Python, Java, or Scala. Familiarity with big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark), cloud platforms, and relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL).
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Data visualisation experience, familiar with tools like Tableau or Streamlit.
  • Minimum Bachelor Degree qualified

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of linear algebra, probability, statistics, calculus, and optimisation.
  • Experience with machine learning pipelines and MLOps.
  • Exposure to real-time data processing and streaming technologies.
