About this role
With your skills and experience, you can contribute to the ways we're enhancing health and wellness, while developing your career as part of the largest health organisation in Australia.
You will join the Regional Health Division which is responsible for providing advice to the Minister for Regional Health, Minister for Health and Secretary, NSW Health on matters concerning regional, rural and remote health. The Division will provide advocacy for issues across the regional health environment and identifies opportunities to enhance access to health and other social services that support quality health outcomes.
The Principal Project Officer leads and manages a project team to deliver, monitor and evaluate the expansion of the NSW Rural Generalist Single Employer Pathway and other regional health workforce-related projects. The Principal Project Officer provides strategic policy, planning, project and change management, and operational advice and support to facilitate the achievement of organisational and government objectives.
Crown Clerk 11/12, starting salary from $149,739 - $173,174 plus Super and annual leave loading, with a 35-hour work week.

What you'll be doing
The Principal Project Officer oversees all aspects of project development, implementation and delivery of the expansion of the NSW Rural Generalist Single Employer Pathway, identifying interdependencies and leveraging resources to maximise efficiencies and achieve required organisation outcomes. The Principal Project Officer is also responsible for leading and providing support on additional workforce and regional healthcare projects as directed by Director, Information and Performance Support.
