About the role

Link-Force Au' is seeking a skilled Formwork Carpenter to join our team in Brisbane, QLD. This is a casual position, working on Hi-Rises. As a Formwork Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing and installing formwork structures that are essential in the concrete pouring process for various construction projects.

What you'll be doing

  • Interpret and follow construction blueprints and specifications to construct formwork structures
  • Measure, cut, and assemble wooden or metal formwork components
  • Install formwork structures in accordance with safety standards and project requirements
  • Dismantle and remove formwork structures after concrete has been poured and cured
  • Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure efficient and coordinated work on site
  • Comply with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations

What we're looking for

  • Proven experience as a Formwork Carpenter or similar role in the construction industry
  • Strong knowledge of formwork construction techniques and materials
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
  • Proficient in the use of power tools and hand tools associated with carpentry work
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Commitment to working safely and following all safety procedures
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation
