Now Careers QLD are the experts in Blue Collar recruitment and are currently looking for experience carpenters to join one of our highly respected and sort-after clients based in the City of Brisbane. 

We have partnered up with a fantastic unique client in the Brisbane City and we are currently seeking skilled and experienced Carpenters to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Reading and interpreting construction blueprints and drawings.
  • Constructing and installing framework.
  • Completing carpentry work for commercial fit-outs including walls, ceilings, and flooring.
  • Using power tools and hand tools to measure, cut, shape, and join materials.
  • Installing fixtures such as doors, windows, and cabinets.
  • Maintaining a safe and tidy work area.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial carpentry and construction.
  • Experience in steel and/or timber framing.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints and drawings.
  • Ability to use power tools and hand tools with precision and accuracy (all tools provided on site)
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Confident in reading plans.
