About the role:
Are you ready to make a real impact in people's lives while growing as a leader? As the Clinical Lead - Alcohol and Other Drug Services, you'll take on a pivotal leadership role within an experienced, multidisciplinary team delivering essential AOD treatment across a range of voluntary and forensic programs. You'll be responsible for guiding, inspiring, and supporting a team of dedicated professionals fostering collaboration, building capability, and ensuring the highest standards of care. Alongside your leadership duties, you'll maintain a clinical caseload, keeping you connected to the work that truly changes lives. What you will bring to the team:
Strong capability to lead and motivate team members, coordinate service delivery, and oversee daily operational tasks within clinical or community-based programs.
Strong clinical expertise, with demonstrated skills in assessment, treatment planning, and delivering evidence-based interventions for clients with complex needs.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead teams, manage challenging situations, and build positive, collaborative relationships.
Sound understanding of the AOD sector, including familiarity with current systems, the social model of health, and experience supporting clients with dual diagnoses.
Strong written communication skills, with the ability to document clinical work clearly and effectively, including assessments, treatment plans, and case notes.
