Location:Ballarat Central, VIC, AU, 3350Fixed term full time38 Hours per weekYW4 - YZ7 ($56.27- $59.23 per hour)About the RoleGrampians Health is currently seeking a Clinical Nurse Educator to facilitate the development of clinical practice in a dedicated educational program to achieve delivery of high-quality, person-centered care in our Oncology department.Key ResponsibilitiesPlan, recruit and coordinate students for the relevant nursing & midwifery education program. i.e., funded project, post-graduate, EN traineeship.Monitor and assess students' clinical progress, competence and preparedness for advanced practice and qualification in the chosen speciality.Ensure all activities are linked to National Safety and Quality Health Services Standards (NSQHS), and/or Aged Care Quality Standards and align with the Best Practice Clinical Learning Environment (BPCLE) framework- .Support learners to gain appropriate theoretical knowledge and clinical experience across a variety of care settings including working alongside learners in clinical settings, providing timely feedback, facilitating the achievement of learning objectives- .Continuously work within the strategic plan, mission, and vision of the Grampians Health Nursing & Midwifery Education team, acting as a change agent for innovation, evidence-based practice and quality health care education- .Actively participate in the Nursing & Midwifery Education unit activities which may include mandatory training, continuing education, or professional development programs, including Highway education or SimVan- .Skills and ExperienceMust hold current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse or Registered MidwifeHave current and substantial (> = 5 years) clinical nursing experience in the specialty are- aHold a postgraduate qualification in the specialty clinical area or be willing to work towards the sam- eMust hold or be willing to work towards a tertiary qualification in the field of educatio- nDemonstrated experience supporting learners and staff in the specialty clinical are- aInterested?if you wish to discuss the role prior to applying, contact Sonia Beggs, Workforce Development Lead, on for a confidential discussion.Job applications close: 12 October 2025.About Grampians HealthGrampians Health provides healthcare to a large region at our campuses based in Ballarat, Dimboola, Edenhope, Horsham and Stawell.Our mission is to deliver sustainable healthcare tailored to evolving community and workforce needs.
