We're now seeking an Administration Officer to contribute to our continued success.
About the Role
As an Administration Officer at Peggs, you'll often be the first point of contact for our valued customers and suppliers. Reporting to the General Manager and working closely with our part-time Administration Officer, your focus will be on leading a range of key administrative functions, optimising office systems and ensuring the smooth, efficient running of daily operations.
This is a diverse operational role, and you'll have the autonomy to take initiative, lead projects and make a genuine impact, all while being part of a collaborative, fun, and professional environment.
This is a full-time role based in Edwardstown, SA.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage customer and supplier communication via phone, email and in person
- Process sales orders across multiple online platforms
- Oversee inventory controls and logistics to meet customer delivery expectations
- Maintain and enhance data integrity across business systems, ensuring compliance with SOPs
- Administer accounts payable/receivable functions
- Demonstrate 1-2 years of experience in accounts payable and receivable functions
- Plan and coordinate corporate travel, team events, and trade exhibitions
- Attend interstate exhibitions on occasion
- Partner with management on strategic projects and continuous improvement initiatives
- Style the showroom and assist with warehouse presentation
About You
To thrive in this role, you'll be a proactive, organised professional with strong attention to detail and a passion for operational excellence. You'll take ownership of outcomes and enjoy improving systems and processes. Your experience will enable you to anticipate business needs, streamline workflows, and support management with sound judgment and initiative.
Permanent residency or Australian citizenship is required for this position.
You'll bring:
- 3+ years' administrative experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- A team-oriented mindset with the ability to work autonomously
- A positive, proactive approach to problem-solving
- Strong computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft suite and willingness to adapt to new programs (experience in Shopify and Xero advantageous)
- Experience in e-commerce, disability and/or aged care sectors will be highly regarded
- Certificate IV in Business or similar qualification will be highly regarded
