Everyday Ability is an award-winning disability services provider based on the NSW Central Coast. We are currently looking for talented support workers to join our growing and vibrant team.

At Everyday Ability we pride ourselves on offering a fully customisable and person-centered experience to our participants. We have a strong belief that our front-line staff are key to making our service great and have great development opportunities available.

Role and Responsibility:

  • Provide direct support to people with a disability including personal care and manual handling
  • Medication management
  • Application of Participant plans ie, Behaviour Support, Epilepsy Management, etc.
  • Accurate data collection in all areas of accommodation services and community participation
  • Maintain and monitor a client's person-centered support plan

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • NSW Driver's Licence
  • Reliable and comprehensively insured vehicle
  • Reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance and registration
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Working with Children Check
  • Must be available to work sleepover shifts
  • NDIS worker Screening Check
  • Ability to perform manual handling tasks and physical care duties safely
  • Permanent Australian work rights or valid working visa

Desirable:

  • Certificate III in individual support or similar
  • Mental health first aid training
  • Medication management training
  • Experience managing challenging behaviours
