About the role

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Disability Support Worker to provide community access, personal care and look after the health and well-being of our client through the provision of high quality care.

You will be responsible for providing disability support to our clients. This includes

  • Providing Personal care and Community Access
  • working with individually or team of support workers as per roster provide daily living support
  • Meal preparations including diet for clients with Dysphagia
  • Arranging for household supplies, ensuring the house is kept clean and tidy, responding to hazards, and reporting.
  • Community access for clients
  • Experience with Mental Health supports
  • Experience with Manual Handling
  • Showering, bathing, Hoist, meal preparation, cleaning
  • Experience in supporting clients with Cerebral Palsy is an advantage

Essential requirements:

  • Demonstrated evidence as an experienced disability support worker supporting clients
  • Current First Aid Certificate
  • Current Police Check
  • Current Working with Children's Check for paid employment
  • Current Drivers Licence and own car
  • Successful candidates will be required to NDIS Workers screening check.
  • In accordance with the NSW Public Health Order, mandatory vaccination will be required for this position. Where applicable, evidence will be requested at probity check stage.
