Key responsibilities

  • Assist in the implementation of individualized care plans in collaboration with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Provide direct care and support to patients under the supervision of registered nurses. This includes assisting with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
  • Ensure compliance with NDIS standards and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records.

Requirements

  • Previous experience working as a Disability Support Worker or in a similar role in a healthcare setting
  • NDIS worker screening check
  • Current flu and Covid-19 vaccination
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification looked on favourably
  • Valid driver's license or reliable transport
  • National Police Check
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module certificate

Pay: $31.76 – $36.00 per hour

  • Disability support work: 1 year (Preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • National Police Check (Required)
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check (Preferred)
  • Driver Licence (Required)
  • Cert 3 or 4 Individual Support (Preferred)

Work Authorisation:

  • Australia (Required)
