About us

PingCo is a private software development company building products to solve challenges facing the telecommunications industry. Established in 2011, PingCo has grown to work with top carriers and partners around the globe.

A role at PingCo means being at the forefront of technology, working with experienced tech experts and being supported to grow ideas and reach your potential.

About the Role

This role is a
60% coding / 40% leadership split

Strong communication skills are essential, as you'll be the day-to-day lead for the development team and a key bridge to the wider business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Report to the Chief Product Officer and act as the day-to-day lead for the development team.

  • Actively participate in sprints, ensuring on-time delivery of features and fixes.
  • Provide technical leadership across React (frontend) and ASP.NET Core/C# (backend) stacks.
  • Collaborate with product managers to scope requirements and user stories

and translate them into high-quality solutions.
- Oversee code reviews, enforce coding standards, and mentor junior developers.
- Design and implement scalable backend APIs and data solutions (SQL Server, Azure).
- Translate design mock-ups and wireframes into responsive, production ready React components.
- Ensure applications maintain high performance, security, and responsiveness.
- Manage escalations and provide technical guidance for problem resolution.
- Support continuous integration, deployment, and automation processes using Azure DevOps, and Git.
- Encourage innovation, continuous learning, and adoption of best practices within the team.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, tools, and frameworks across frontend and backend development.
