Estimator

As we continue to grow, we're looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Estimator to join our team and play a key role in both pricing and coordinating demolition projects

The Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for demolition projects, as well as supporting the project management team throughout the job lifecycle. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who is highly organized, has strong analytical skills, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment

• Review tender documents, plans, and site conditions to prepare accurate demolition estimates.
• Conduct site visits and liaise with clients, engineers, and subcontractors as needed.
• Prepare detailed scope of works, pricing schedules, and supporting documentation.
• Identify risks, constraints, and opportunities in proposed projects.
• Assist in scheduling, procurement, and coordination of labour and equipment.
• Support the project manager to ensure smooth project delivery from award to completion.
• Liaise with council and relevant authorities regarding permits and regulations.
• Maintain an up-to-date database of pricing and supplier/subcontractor rates.
• Track variations and assist with cost reporting and project budgeting.

• Previous experience in demolition, construction or a related industry (essential).
• Strong estimating skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and methodologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and estimating software (e.g., Buildxact, Bluebeam, or similar).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to sites.
