Customer Service Officer – Grade 3/4

About the Role:
Providing advice and solutions in accordance with agency policies and procedures, to enhance client engagement and commitment.
The role also undertakes a range of administrative and branch support tasks and activities in relation to arranging interpreting and translation services.
The Successful Candidate:
To excel in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following:
- Call centre experience is an essential requirement. Public sector experience is ideal.
- Demonstrating a high level of commitment to customer service and client satisfaction, provide efficient and accurate interpreting and translation services to customers.
- Discuss customer requirements to determine the best approach within policy and procedures, escalating more complex or contentious issues, or those outside delegations to the Senior Customer Service Officer.
- Develop sound working relationships with customers and collate information and provide a wide range of support services to support the effective provision of translation and interpreter services.
- Apply a wide range of operational and administrative processing tasks associated with the provision of translation and interpreter services in an online environment and in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Ensure high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all work performed.
- Work collaboratively in a team environment, participating actively in team meetings and projects, and provide advice on the effective delivery of services.
- Prepare reports as required and provide effective administrative support to ensure work is completed within timelines.
- Respond to incoming telephone calls and provide information and guidance to convey

Located in Parramatta, this role offers a hybrid working arrangement.
