Job description:

St Johns Park Bowling Club is a leading employer in the hospitality industry in South-Western Sydney. We currently have an exciting opportunity available for a Front Desk Supervisor to join our friendly team. You will be working on a rotating roster every 4 weeks including nights, weekends and public holiday shifts. Average of 38 hours per week with two weekends off each month.

Shifts:

7:00am - 3:30pm

2:00pm - 11:30pm

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise, coordinate, train, and mentor reception & meet and greet staff to maintain high service standards.
  • Address and resolve guest inquiries, complaints, or special requests efficiently.
  • Monitor guest feedback to identify areas for improvement and provide suggestions on areas of improvement to management to enhance the customer experience.
  • Oversee daily reception operations, including membership data entry, reservations, tills etc.
  • Coordinate with other departments (e.g., housekeeping, maintenance) to address guest needs.
  • Handle cash transactions, credit card payments, and till reconciliation.
  • Enforce company policies and procedures, ensuring a safe and professional environment.
  • Organise onboarding and provide ongoing training for new and existing employees.

Skills & Experience:

  • Certificate in Administration (preferred).
  • Minimum 1 year of front desk or hospitality experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
  • Microsoft excel and word, Customer relationship management (CRM) systems experience
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
