The Role
As the central point of contact between our customers, sales team, warehouse operations and logistics providers, you'll keep things running smoothly from quote to delivery. You'll deliver exceptional service, ensure orders are processed accurately and build strong relationships that drive repeat and new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare quotes, sales orders and invoices accurately and efficiently
- Handle customer enquiries regarding pricing, product availability and delivery timelines
- Interpret customer needs and suggest suitable welding product equivalents
- Provide internal and external sales and merchandising support
- Liaise with carriers, couriers and freight companies to coordinate deliveries and maintain service standards
- Offer general administrative and customer service support to the team and warehouse
- Proactively reach out to customers (phone/email) who are not serviced by a Rep
- Stay up to date with industry trends, market activity and competitor offerings
About You
You're an organised, energetic team player who thrives in a hands-on, fast-paced environment. You take pride in helping customers and enjoy juggling multiple responsibilities throughout the day.
What You'll Bring:
- Proven experience in customer service, internal sales or sales support
- Background in counter sales or a small branch environment where you've worn multiple hats
- Forklift Licence and/or warehouse experience (highly regarded)
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy with orders, quotes and invoices
- Strong communication skills with both customers and colleagues
- Confident computer skills; experience with ERP or CRM systems preferred
- Ability to prioritise and follow through with tasks efficiently
- Customer-first mindset: friendly, professional and responsive
- Mechanically minded; experience in wholesale or reseller environments an advantage
- An understanding of welding would be advantageous
