About the Role

As a Pre-Construction Project Manager, you'll lead the early phase of multiple office fitout projects across Queensland, ranging from $100k to $3m. You'll drive planning, estimating, tender documentation, and procurement, ensuring each project is positioned for smooth delivery.

Reporting into a senior leader, you'll manage several projects simultaneously, liaising with clients, suppliers, and consultants, while maintaining a strong focus on cost control, risk management, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead pre-construction planning, procurement, and scheduling for office fitout projects
  • Prepare tender documentation and obtain quotes
  • Perform estimating duties and cost control across projects
  • Coordinate design reviews and assess constructability
  • Ensure compliance with WHS, quality, and company standards
  • Liaise confidently with clients, suppliers, and consultants
  • Drive alignment between internal teams and external stakeholders

About You

  • Strong D&C background with 3–7 years' experience in pre-construction or estimating
  • Skilled in managing multiple projects simultaneously ($100k–$3m)
  • Hands-on experience with tender documentation, procurement, and early-phase coordination
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and solutions-driven
  • Strong stakeholder communication skills, able to build trust internally and externally
  • Experience in office fitouts is preferred but not essential
