Our office in Brisbane is undertaking new projects with some of Brisbane's most prestigious and well-respected architecture firms and clients. Due to continued growth, a fantastic and unique opportunity exists for a highly motivated entry level or experienced graduate in structural and/or façade engineering to join our Brisbane Office and be part of a dynamic company with a great culture

This role will suit a highly organised, proactive and enthusiastic individual with a continuous improvement mindset, ideally (but not necessary) with some knowledge in the following fields: glass, balustrades, curtain wall systems, window wall systems, glazing, fixings, aluminium, precast concrete, architectural steel, GFRC, Brickwork, lightweight structures and stone cladding.

The role will include the following duties and responsibilities:

• Undertake the design, engineering and documentation including detailed engineering calculations, analysis, drawings and specifications for facade and build-ability consultancy
• Review contractor submissions; shop drawings and calculations
• Liaise and coordinate with the design/project team and other disciplines within Inhabit as required
• Façade engineering design and buildability consultancy, including material knowledge and installation techniques
• Assist in preparing tender submissions
• Build and maintain relationships with clients on projects and develop contacts within the facade industry

• A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil/Structures) - attach Full Transcript with CV or Cover Letter
• Entry level or experienced graduate in structural and/or façade engineering
• A strong and committed interest in structural engineering and façade design
• Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
• Proactive, positive attitude, dedicated with a passion for detail
• Knowledge of relevant Australian standards and building codes
• Proficient in MS Office suite (MS Word, Excel and PDF in particular)
